Thanks in advance to all who helped.
I don't know much about photography, and my cameras only on travel - but we do a lot of it.
I have a Sony a6000 camera that came with 2 lenses. The smaller one broke. I need to have it replaced, but not sure what I should replace it with. I bought a lens I thought might be a good fit, only to find out it has no focus and so really is of very limited use to us.
My needs are simple - most of our photos are done outside, landscape/architectural shots, in decent light. I would prefer a lens that is compact and allows me to keep the camera in a coat/cargo short pocket or a small backpack. We don't know as much zoom/wildlife photography as we used to, and have the other lens that came with it for that. What lens would you recommend that is decent at short range, has a wide angle, and is relatively compact?
Price is not a major factor, but since this is for very recreational photography, would like to stay in a few hundred dollar range.
Thanks!
