I'm not sure if this is the right place, but worth a shot. I graduated with a BS in psychology in 2018. I'm currently employed as a planning and economic development specialist with my state (AL). That's obviously completely unrelated to sonography, but I do not like my job at all and need a change. I've been trying to decide when I should go back to school. I've always been interested in medical things, diagnostics, etc. If I had known 2 year programs such as sonography and bioimaging were an option out of high school, I would have pursued that instead of wasting 5 years getting a bachelor's I can't really use yet! My question: is it possible to begin a sonography program when I already have a bachelor's degree? My ACT score is super old at this point (I saw that as one of the requirements for some programs). I'm not sure which direction to go and if I even have a chance. I do have some background in science: biology, chemistry, microbiology, and anatomy & physiology. Would this help me at all? If you have any experience with this, please give me some tips. Thanks!
