It looks like Sonic the Movie is starting a whole new cinematic universe. I'm excited about that idea, and I'm making my own version of a shared timeline. But, during the creation, a question emerged. What if the SCU starts to go down after Sonic 3 and had a messy structure like the DCEU? Like, the fans were more and more divided about the movies, the critics very bad, some movies feeling messy and disjointed and poor box office. Here are some equivalents I think it would have: Sonic Heroes, akin Justice League (2017), Jeff Fowler's Sonic Heroes, aka Fowlercut being the Snydercut, being a lot more comedic and happy than the theatrical cut. A Tails production as Shazam and a Sonic Generations movie as The Flash, with Jason Griffith's Sonic being the Michael Keaton's Batman. About the Elseworlds, The Joker would be an Eggman movie and The Batman a Shadow one. Any suggestions of equivalents or what could happen in the comments are accepted.
