I don't mean concessions in terms of facts or arguments, but more just in terms of motives.
For those on the positive side: can you all acknowledge that those on the negative side actually love Sonic and that they are just trying to provoke positive change at Sega and Sonic Team in order to ensure a better product for the sake of you, themselves, Sega, Sonic Team, and the Sonic franchise? Can you all also acknowledge that the negative side has a pretty valid precedent after intense fan backlash to the manhog (ugly Sonic) led to massively positive change in the movie franchise? And can you also acknowledge that they have a right to freely express their perspective within the Sonic fan community and shouldn't be told to shut up and/or go away and/or be accused of toxicity?
For those on the negative side: can you all acknowledge that those on the positive side also actually really love Sonic as well, and they are staying positive because they also think that's what's best for the franchise? Can you all also acknowledge that they just want Sonic games to succeed and be good, and that their positivity is them rooting for the franchise? And can you also acknowledge that they have a right to freely express their perspective within the Sonic fan community and shouldn't be told to shut up and/or go away and/or be accused of toxicity?
Can both sides at least acknowledge that the other side is also motivated for a love of Sonic and the Sonic franchise, and not by spite, malice, hatred, or greed?
