Pick a Sonic game. Preferably a modern one that still stands the test of time without any major graphical or mechanical overhauls.
Say that gets ported to current-gen platforms, but as a selling point, it needs to pull a Super Mario 3D World and gets an additional mode that shares the same game engine and controls as the base game, but with a different story, structure, and/or locales, and maybe one or two new mechanics so long as they're not invasive to the core gameplay.
What Sonic game do you choose, and what new mode would you include to get people excited about a full-priced rerelease?
