I mean, why not? Yeah, Penders is a sadder clown than Pagliacchi, but so far he's getting away with it. Hell, from what I'm reading this whole mess with Penders and his characters comes down to "Sega didn't feel like getting involved in the Chronicles or Archie cases and just sort of let it happen." If you ask me, Sega deserves to have its characters warped into whatever FNAF-looking funhouse-mirror characters anyone like Ken can cook up. Maybe Mike Gallagher can come back and go straight Looney Tunes with the Substitute Freedom Fighters or something. Maybe Scott Fulop can give us a comic about Mammoth Mogul and his Fearsome Foursome in the vein of Suicide Squad. Maybe Karl Bollers can make a comic where Mina Mongoose is a magical girl. I don't seriously expect any of these things to happen, but my point is that if Sega is willing to allow Ken's travesty and reprints to go forward, I say every other writer might as well f--- around and find out.
