He barely tolerates them. When was the last time he canonically even SPOKE to Tails? Or anyone?! I detest SEGA and the community for the consistent character assassination of my favorite Echidna. His spot has been replaced by Amy in pretty much every media. It’s shameful. You can be stoic and independent without being outright hostile, but SEGA disagrees, apparently. I relate to Knuckles heavily and it makes me sad to see his character development retconned over and over, forgotten by his “friends,” and treated like trash. AITA here?
