So. It's been awhile since I played Sonic Genrations, (steam version.) And there's been a few mods I wanted to mess around with, so I figure "Hey, why not." I download it and start up vanilla first, just to make sure it runs on my new laptop...

"Critical Error!!!
Detected configuration does not match your current hardware. Please re-run the configuration tool."

Okay. Sure. So, I open up the configuration tool, switch over to the "wireless controller" to set up my PS5 controller and... nothing. Everything is either blank or undefined and no matter what I click, there's no pop up to let me change it. Except the d-pad which auto-assigns to y-axis without fail.

Okay. Sure. Maybe it's just the controller I'm using. Let's try big picture mode first.

Nope.

Uh... okay. Let's enable steam inputs.

Nope.

Try the configure tool with steam inputs enabled?

Nope.

Mess with the template and try again!?

Nope!
