A terrible idea?: Going under different artists names for different genres of music I write

Post Body

For added context: I have a LOT of what I deem to be keeper songs. Around 100 or so. And the genres of those songs are all over the place, from rock, to 60s pop, to dancey indie pop, to old school country, to psychedelic, to sweet acoustic ballads, to shoegaze. If I were to release, like, 7 or more albums within a short period under one banner, I think A. the sheer amount of albums would be overwhelming to people, and B. the diversity of genres would also be confusing.

So, is the solution mentioned in the title practical? What other solutions could there be?
