Rock guitarist songwriter trying to venture out into more electronic sounds, not sure where to start.

Recently I've fallen in love with groups like Death Grips and Machinegirl, that sort of very abrasive chaotic sound. I'm buying a few synths and have Logic Pro X and Ableton, I have no idea where to start and if anyone has any tips or videos that could help I'd appreciate it
