Writing Out Music?

Hey everyone,
Iām a self taught musician and am doing my best to write songs for my rock band. Ive been having problems writing out my songs on paper. I know a fair share of music theory, but I can hardly read or write sheet music, and tablature is very cumbersome and not intuitive.
I use a lot of music theory techniques to write, especially voice leading and functional harmony, so finding a way to notate everything has been pretty difficult. Let me know any tips or recommendations!
