I see this semi-often: people who make a video and then post it to dozens or even hundreds of subreddits, many of them barely relevant at all. Does this spamming result in any significant amount of views for them?
You'd think this would usually result in badwill from the communities resulting in lesser potential followers and future views, but at the same time I know Reddit communities are more mercurial than old forums, so I really don't know if this traditional wisdom applies. I also know only a handful of the subs to which they submit result in any sort of discussion, as most of them are either already saturated or dead, but I'm more concerned on the ones where they could be getting exposure.
P.S. Before anyone asks, no, I am not planning to do this.
