Why do people say Boston is so "boring" compared to other cities?
Post Body

I know this is not directly Somerville related, but my account isn't old enough to post in r/Boston yet so please cut me some slack mods

Whenever I see people talking about Boston online, they always say it's boring... but I don't really get it. Like how is it boring? It's definitely not a party city like New Orleans or NYC or whatever. But there's plenty of cool stuff around unless you've lived here for like 20 years, then I guess maybe you'd get bored of it.

I recently moved here so maybe that's why I don't quite get it. Can someone help me understand what cities that are "not boring" look like and why people say Boston is so boring?
