I am new to Somerville and have gotten super out-of-shape over the past few years. Anyone have ideas for ways to get more active in the area? Things like a walking club, beginner yoga classes, etc.
I live right on the community path, and I am very intimidated by all the runners/bikers/generally athletic people around here, so Iām really just looking for opportunities to be healthier without feeling embarrassed.
Iām currently doing Couch To 5K (r/C25K). On colder days I go to the gym, and on warmer days I go on the community path. If you hate running but wanna get into it, give it a shot.
