What format should I journal in for DnD 5e Solo?

Post Body

I really like RPing, but I find it's not really possible to do with Solo. I heard that it's fun to journal, but I don't really understand a good format. I was writing it like a story and everything was happening to my character. Would writing it in first person, and maybe as it's happening with no outside omnipotent me knowledge make it more enjoyable?

Or maybe as like a recounting? Like my PC is telling the story to another person?

When I was writing it, I found myself in a dungeon. And all I was writing was like "Alice found herself in a passage. It was empty. And stairs went up to the next floor. Then there was a passage. And had a fountain in it, etc etc etc"

It just feels boring.... How can I make it more fun?

Thank you :)
