I'm an engineering student. I have one course on Solidoworks. Due to COVID19 situation, I'm forced to buy a new laptop that can run this software. found a decent spec gaming laptop that's in my budget. Acer Nitro 5 17"(i5-9300H 2.4GH/GTX 1650) Will upgrade ram if not enough. From quick Google search on Graphic cards for SOLIDWORKS. I understand that Quadro cards are the way to go. However, I can't afford one.
My question is, if I get a laptop with GTX, will the Graphic card be utilised (doesn't have to be perfectly optimized for it) or it would just ignore the existence of GPU ?
