Hey, all! So, I will soon be graduating from a Full-Stack Software Development boot camp where we have learned/are learning Javascript, CSS3, HTML5, React.js, ASP .NET, C#, PostgeSQL, Git/github. We graduate November 3rd and I'm having an incredibly hard time even just searching for jobs! Most platforms I've used for searching are only showing potential opportunities in my local area (Huntsville, AL), and most of those jobs are military related, and are looking for people with hefty experience. Don't get me wrong, I will take whatever job I can get starting off, but my dream is to be designing video games at some point! So, the questions: where did you guys start off at, and how long did it take for you to even get your foot in the door somewhere? And if anyone happens to have any info on getting in with gaming companies, how did that work for you?
