Question about an out or rather not an out at home plate. Most of you know I’m new to all this and I’m coaching my girlfriends daughter’s 12u travel team.
Post Body

So I’ll try and not make this too long lol.

My team is fielding, opponents are at bat. 2 outs. Bottom of the 3rd. The count is 2 strikes 2 balls. Girl hits the ball. It drops so the outfield is going for the ball. Girl from second rounds third heading home. She gets tagged out BUT the opposing teams coach is yelling “there’s no force! She’s safe! There’s no damn force!!”

Like I said I’m new and learning each day. We got my girlfriends daughter Paige on a new team from the last time I posted and they are great. They hold clinics, tons of practices it’s great. Anyway I’m rambling. Question is. What’s did the coach mean by she’s safe there’s no force? The runner was tagged out before she touched the plate. I’m confused. Please educate me. I tried google but it’s still a little unclear. Thanks so much for all your help so far. Hope everyone is having fun and staying healthy.
