Hello, I'm new to the subreddit, but I've owned a SodaStream since about summer of this year. During that time, I've been trying to taste test as many of their flavors as I can.

And, I must say, I've tried: Cola, Root Beer, Dr Pete, Fountain Mist, Lemon Lime, the four Zero flavors (lemonade, pink grapefruit, cranberry raspberry, and strawberry watermelon), and nothing has ever come close to the Energy flavor.

This flavor is absolutely amazing. I've been drinking canned energy drinks now for about 15 years. And I've tried all the mainstream ones. Monster, Red Bull, Nos, Amp, Kickstarter, Rockstar, Bang, Reign, the list goes on. I've even tried many generic / store brand equivalents of these. But, almost none of them compares to SodaStream's Energy, in terms of overall flavor.

The only one that has come close for me is Venom. Specifically, the Black Mamba. That has been my "go to" canned energy drink for over a decade. The thing is, it's a "smaller" brand in my area. While made by Dr Pepper/7-up, it's just not as popular, at least not where I live. So, it sometimes can be difficult to find. And most places online jack up the price (even Amazon).

So, as you can imagine, it can be disappointing to not have something you enjoy very often. And, that's why I'm very pleased with Sodastream's Energy flavor. It tastes very similar to the Venom I've enjoyed for many years, and I can actually get a hold of it. Not only that, but it's very cheap in comparison. Venom retails for about $1 USD for a 16 oz can. But, a SodaStream Energy bottle can make eighteen 16.9 oz bottles (provided you follow the instructions and don't add extra) for only like $6 a bottle (give or take taxes and sale deals and all that). Even figuring the price of CO2 gas per serving, that is an absolute steal. And I don't have to recycle a bunch of cans with Sodastream.

So, yeah, I just wanted to come here and share my thoughts on this flavor. If you are someone who enjoys energy drinks, like me, I would highly recommend grabbing this flavor, if you haven't already. Easy 10 out of 10 for me.
