Tastemade, along with multiple other media sources, has a regularly featured snapchat story, always dealing with some sort of food or culinary-related story. In their most recent story, they went in a slightly different direction, talking about out-of-the-ordinary soda flavors. Their list includes the following. 1. Chocolate Bacon Soda 2. Salty Watermelon Soda 3. Celery Soda 4. Eel Soda 5. Yogurt Soda 6. Black Garlic Soda 7. Tree Bark Soda (Which is just birch beer, not weird at all really) 8. Kimchi Soda 9. Cantaloupe Soda (Oh Fanta, your selection never disappoints) 10. Buffalo Wing Soda And of course 11. White Fungus Bird's Nest Soda
Now some of these flavors sound just god-awful, and I would never even think to try them (Black Garlic??) but stuff like Salty Watermelon and even Yogurt Soda I think I would try. A few of these flavors are discontinued, and most originated from, you guessed it, Japan, but a few of them, such as Celery and Buffalo Wing, are still in production. I'd love to be able to find all of these.
If you know anything about any of these soda flavors, let me know!
