This might be a ridiculous place to ask this question but:
Basically, how do you make a rational house purchase in a market where value is decoupled from reality? I basically distrust all the conventional advice given by people on this matter, but have no framework of thinking to scrutinise the information I'm given. End of the say, I'm just trying to secure a roof over my head without losing my heart, head, or too much cash.
I suppose I just trust more the advice of people who are skeptical of the direction of where this is all headed.
