We're back. Kind of. Clearing out the cobwebs. Much stuff broken. Much stuff coming. More details to come. So much spam.

Auxiliary payment question
Post Body

I was approved for SSDI. I have four children. All under 18. 2 live with me and 2 live with their mother. I was told I can apply for auxiliary payments. I was told that 50% of my pay would be divided equally per child. For the children that live with me, their monthly amount would be added to my personal amount. The other two children who live with their mother ( I have visitation, every other weekend) would get a check in the mail. I also pay child support for the children who don’t live with me. My question is, would the child support be affected by this? Secondly, would my children’s mother need to sign up for this or can I do this all myself?
