I’m not 100% sober, but I got my drinking under control. I would say 1-4 drinks a week, if that. I had a work conference in Las Vegas and knew it could be more tempting. I had 2 beers on thursday at the welcome event. Then I had ZERO drinks the rest of the time and was not expecting that to be the situation. I sat with some people I didn’t know. One guy make a joke about getting a lemonade something like ‘ $8 for a lemonade it’s so expensive being sober in this town’. A few others then mentioned they were sober and we all hung out at a table together during dinners.

On a personal note, I don’t like drinking alone, only when out and spent most of the free time by myself so that wasn’t an issue.

Even out of regular environment it can be done, and it was my first time too. I’m proud of myself
