Hi, I don’t have much of a relationship with any of my family and don’t have many friends anymore. I don’t mind being alone, for the most part, but I do worry about who would take Odin when/if things went wrong and something were to happen to me. I mean, it’s been one of the main reasons I’ve fought so hard for so long. After I graduate with my AA in communications next year, we are either going to move out of state if we can or we are gonna move wherever I can get into an American Sign Language program.
I’m a bartender, an ex-chef, incredibly affectionate, a true ride or die, and have been told that I’m pretty funny. I’m tough as shit, but still incredibly sensitive. Things haven’t been going according to plan for a long time, but that’s okay. I have hope. I’m going to be going through different exams and consultations with different specialists in the coming months and having some support would be rather nice. Disability denied me, unemployment is taking forever, and I’m still on the search for a job (two interviews scheduled foe this week!)
On to Odin - he turned 2 in August, he’s about 75 lbs, black lab/GSD working line, totally a goofy boy who loves people and animals. He loves adventures. We kinda go everywhere together. I can’t wait to take him to the snow this year. He loves the snow! We just don’t get much here in SoCal. He loves the beach. He isn’t a 24/7 cuddle dog, but he does make his cuddles count and I adore him. He’s a multi-purpose service dog. He has a great ethic. He loves training. He loves working. And he’s great about getting groomed. Oh, and despite getting him at 4 months, he’s never had an accident in my house.
Some things I’m into: Talking about alcohol/drinks, serial killers/true crime, religions (the analysis of many), spirituality, abnormal psychology, anthropology, dog training, singing karaoke, going on hikes, going on adventures!
Here is a recent picture of us from the pumpkin patch!
