Hello, brethren and sistren. (That's a real word. I Googled it.) I hope 2024 is going well for you so far. I just wanted to check in with everyone and see how people are feeling about the current state of the subreddit. Photo verification was removed about 3 months ago, and the return of spam posts is clearly evident. Photo verification was effective while it lasted, but I don't think we'll be bringing it back for the foreseeable future due to lack of moderator manpower/time commitment. I wish there was an easy solution, but there simply isn't.

You guys have been great about reporting the spam posts, and I appreciate that. I try to ban those accounts as soon as possible, but it's ultimately a never ending game of cat and mouse. On the topic of reporting, if you encounter someone who is selling content/services, please message the modmail with proof rather than just reporting the post. It's difficult to justify banning an account based on a single report, especially if their profile shows no visible indication that they are violating our rules.
