This is a known catfishing type where some guy takes verification pictures posted by a legitimate user in r/selfie, edits them, and then creates new usernames based on what names they can make by moving letters around.
In this case, "LeatherLind" took pictures posted by legit user LeatherKind9379, removed the age and sub info (you can see it in the edited pic because they suck at editing pics), moved some stuff around, and then made a new name based on that. It's also why the fake usernames tend to be awkward as fuck sounding.
The original pics from the original user can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/selfie/comments/195v035/verification_post_19f/
He primarily targets asian guys, and is trying to get users to send increasingly compromising pics until they send him pics that include their face. What they then do with that information you can posit on your own.
Remember kids: "verification pics" are always suspect because they're so easily faked. "Verification pics" that don't include things relevant to the sub it's being posted in (like the sub name), or are oddly positioned like there was more info originally on the verification sign, are also suspect. If a poster is strongly suggesting something to the extent of "no pics no response" and also strongly suggests talking about or sending dick pics right off the bat, that's also a red flag.
This catfish also likes to post in asian-targeting subs like r4rasian and amwfdating.
