Bad gas smell after running snowblower for first after repair
Post Body

Question regarding bad gas smell

Just got my snowblower back from having the carburetor rebuilt and was told to turn it on once a month and run it for five minutes until we get snow. I pulled it a few times to start and it would turn over. I primed it a few times and noticed a small amountPictures of gas spurt out when I primed it. Got it to turn over, ran it for a few, and ran it into my stretched garage and turned it off. I’m now getting a bad gas smell in the garage which is now coming into the house. Any thoughts on what this could be? It’s also non-ethanol gas…is that why it smells different than the gas I would put in my car?

Edit: this is a Taylor 8HP snowblower and have included some pics
