I am working on buying a house and am in the process of looking for a good snowblower for the Sierra Cement that we get. I have also been told that tracks are a requirement up here. I have been primarily looking for Hondas but have come up empty handed as the waitlist at the shops in my area are quite far out.

I had a private seller reach out to me that said he was going to be selling his Cub Cadet (3X 26 in. 357cc Track Drive) similar to this one. He said he's been using it for a couple years on his deck but it's overkill for the small deck and wants a smaller machine. It's roughly 4 years old and he's offering $900 for it, which seems like a decent deal. But, I'm not entirely sold because I've heard that Cub Cadet is not always reliable and can have issues with drive wheels and going through a lot of shear pins.

I'm pretty new to the snowblower scene, so I wanted to get the opinion of those in here with more knowledge than me first. So, what are your thoughts on these machines?
