My baby is 12 weeks old. We started using the snoo at 7 weeks old when our friend asked if we wanted to borrow theirs. Before that, we were not sleeping. I was lucky if my baby would sleep in his regular halo bassinet more than 30 minutes at a time. With the snoo, we are still not sleeping through the night. Much better than pre-snoo though. He wonāt sleep at night in the snoo until after 9:00, usually more around 10. Heāll sleep for 4 ish hours usually, then he feeds, is held upright for a half hour after eating (he has pretty bad reflux), and heās back in the snoo for maybe another 2 hours, sometimes more and sometimes less. So heās getting 6.5-7 hours of nighttime sleep in the snoo, aka not enough. But thatās not the point of this post.
My issue is that he absolutely will not daytime nap in the snoo. The second I stick him in there, heās wide awake, or awake after about 10 minutes. Iāve tried so many times, bought blackout curtains as well, but he just wonāt nap in it. I usually contact nap in the day and he sleeps in the snoo at night. But since he isnāt really sleeping super long at night, Iām not really getting sustainable sleep as I cannot āsleep when the baby sleepsā during the day.
Is anyone elseās baby like this? Does anyone have any suggestions here?

Ours is 7 months and still deals with reflux. Gas drops, added rice cereal to milk, gripe water, and a crib mattress wedge or tuna cans under the head-side legs will help. Or some combination thereof.
Ours deals with gas in combination with the reflux, but itāll get better. As their gut matures itāll get easier to deal with. Even with the snoo.
