Hey guys,
I wasn’t sure exactly which Subreddit to post this in, but I figured you guys would probably know quite a lot about shoes, so here goes.
One of the users here recommended that I try out the ultra boost series of shoes from Adidas, so I went to my local footlocker and found this pair of Adidas mentioned in the title, and I absolutely love them. These are probably the most comfortable shoes that I’ve ever been on my feet, so suffice to say I’m going to try to take very good care of them and have them last as long as they can. The thing is, it seems as though most shoes have a shelf life of around 500 miles give or take, and since I’m not going to be using these shoes to work out, they should last me quite a while. that being said, they cost me $220. This is probably the most I’ve ever spent on a single pair of shoes, but I just couldn’t pass these up once I slept them on my feet in the store. I think the reason I like these shoes so much is because of that stretchy elastic like material that sort of squeezes your foot once you have the shoe on. Almost making it feel like you’re wearing some kind of sock shoe. I don’t know what the style is necessarily called, or if other brands have tried to mimic this style, but I absolutely love it. It makes the shoe feel extremely breathable, very lightweight, And it just feels really nice. Are there any cheaper alternatives to the shoe I listed, maybe even an older ultra boost true that does sort of the same thing but for a cheaper price? And if not, how do you guys typically finance your expensive shoes? Do you just put a little bit of money aside each month until your current shoes are worn out?
Thank you!
