Back flash on Snapchat on my new iPhone 16 is too bright/overexposed?

Whenever I take pictures using the back camera flash, the pics turn out discolored. I want to say they’re overexposed, but I’m not familiar enough with that term to know. The flash works fine when it’s a video or using the front camera, and I have no issues with my phone’s camera app.
