Cant sign up - email address is not valid

My account got locked and because I tried to make a new account i got a temp ban as well, when im trying to make a new username on the website i keep getting the error “Please enter a valid email address.”
Is there any way round this? Tried it on my phone and browser but its not accepting any emails i make up (outlook/hotmail)
Not tried to make an account from the app due to the ban just through pc and safari
