What’s the exact length of device bans? I’m confused at this point!

So some people say the SS06 is temporary and it lasts 6-12 months and some say it can take a year to two years for it to be lifted and some are saying it’s permanent device ban. Who do I believe 😂😭. Help me out guys and share your experience.

One of my device bans got lifted at 6 months, the other at 12 months. The one showing error ss06 was the 6 month one.
