Why is quick add showing me nothing but "recently joined" accounts?

For 2 months now, Quick Add has been acting really strangely & showing me nothing but "recently joined" accounts.

And I can clearly tell that most of them are just scammer/bot/hooker/cashapp-phishing accounts with less than 100 snap points.

Ever since I switched to Android, the Quick Add feature has been absolutely atrocious. It shows me people who live nowhere near me. It shows abunch of people who are almost 10 years younger than me.

It's very noticably more random than it was back when I was using an iPhone. This has been extremely annoying & inconvenient for me.

If anyone has had the same problem, please let me know if it eventually stopped, or there's a way to fix it.
