I recently received a Ninja BL660 for christmas and have been enjoying making smoothies every day this year. I've been trying to copy my favorite smoothies from a pricey place down the street. My daily recipe usually consists of some combination of the following:
solids:
frozen banana some combo of frozen berries, pineapple, mango, peach or coconut puree
liquid:
half oat milk / half water
add-ons:
plant protein powder (17g scoop), oats, fresh ginger, almond butter, collagen powder, cinnamon for taste
My primary concern is making sure i'm not consuming too much sugar every morning, but i also want to maximize my smoothie power! I've been considering purchasing some sea moss and spirulina but i'm not sure if i've just been duped by fancy smoothie places and convinced myself I need those. any suggestions?
