Metal protection on firearms
Post Body

On revolvers in particular, I tend to put gun grease on the internals and asume that does a good job of one keeping things lubricated and gliding smoothly and two keeping rust/moisture from colecting. But on the outside frame/barrel/cylinder iv been using break clean CLP. Small drops on the gun and then very lightly wiping it down to keep as much oil on the surface as possible without being puddled. I then put it back in the leather holster or in it's case in a 57% humidity environment (that's what my humidity is at in my apartment) and I recoat the gun every few days. Does anyone have suggestions on what oil to use and or what I should be doing different if anything. I of course clean my gun regularly after use but have been oiling it regularly like I stated.
