After playing since day 1 on console(beta), seeing so many broken releases, crazy metas, toxic teammates, great last minute wins and god reworks that almost ruin the gameā¦my PS4 finally hit the end of her run.
I played a lot of games on PS4, but I always came back to smite. Thought Overwatch would get me off of it, nope. Red dead online, nope. Any sort of single player game got finished and I hopped right back on. I spent good money on skins I wanted, battle passes I needed, shit just gems sometimes when they were on sale. I played release Baron, release Tsukiyomiā¦had a ton of fun. I made some really cool friends too. Despite having a ton of toxic teammates, the meta shifting and making me hate the game all over again. Smite was such a great time, with better memories than worse.
Iāve got a daughter on the way, and Iāve been working a lot and hanging out with my fiancĆ© and sheās never been a huge fan of smite but fortunately she let me get some time in. I get that I could pick up another PS4, or wait around for a ps5, but this has been kind of a little bit of a sign to me. I just wanted to say see ya later, Smite community. When Iāve got a little more disposable income, and time to play Iāll be back. But for now Iāll always love you, even the Loki mains.
TLDR; Console got old and bricked, got other things going on in life so Iām hanging up the controller for a while to focus on other things, just saying bye.
