How do you play Kali?

Through some crazy luck I got her Biohacker skin from the chest today, and I kinda want to learn how to play her. So far I tried her out in Co-Op arena, and she seems pretty fun but I don't know what's the strategy when playing her. Do I dive in when the whole team is ganged up on someone?
