Duel matchmaking?

I am a avid duel player that averages around platinum and diamond right now. Lately my matches have been against people in a very higher rank than me so the matches have been very difficult. Granted I enjoy the challenge, I would also enjoy to play with people at my skill level to be able to work my way up. Has anyone else been having issues similar to this?
