I've seen lots of posts about ranked match making, and the meta. Here's my response
Post Body

What about the people who start to play ranked that have been watching countless videos, reading hundreds of articles, playing 1000 assault games, mastering every god, and playing a total of 50 conquest games. Because, currently, that's me. Seeing these posts (that say that new ranked members should have 200-300 or more casual conquest games played, etc.) scare the balls out of me because I feel like in ranked I'm expected to know every little detail of the Meta. No one really follows the meta that well in Casuals, so how am I supposed to "really know the meta" if no one I play with in casuals plays the meta correctly.

I get it, in Casuals, it's less competitive so it makes sense that the meta wouldn't really be followed or even well known. I'm just wanting to play ranked, and my balls are gone b cause they've been scared away. I've literally been so frightened that I have almost refused to play ranked conquest, even though I desperately want to. Shouldn't a game not scare the balls out of me?

TL;DR. I feel like I and many others are good enough for ranked, but the reddit tells me otherwise.
