In terms of the Machina Reissue: I am not talking about Billy/the band releasing stuff like Machina outtakes, demos, or unreleased songs, materials - that will always hold high value and will be guaranteed the driving point behind the reissue, but in terms of releasing Machinas I and II (I guess mainly 1 really) remastered, don’t you think that maybe the band/record company may have missed the boat on capitalizing on that?
The rise of AI and how it edits music, at this stage, has us on course to eventually being able to remaster songs ourselves, at our own disposal. So when we have the power to do that, objectively that will impact the potential monetization that they make off of releasing this album remaster - as very unfortunate as it is.
Idk, my 2 cents on the matter.
I hate AI and would hate for people to utilize it in ways that would take away from the band, but at this point, it’s kind of something that unfortunately you’d need to be prepared for.
