How do I get more gsp?

Hey so I recently bought online after forever and I literally can’t get a match that’s normal. I’ve had my gsp drop by 2 mil because I keep getting Sonics and villagers with 3 mins 3 stock items and random stages. Not the best player but Im trying to get better matches to get better but I keep only getting items on, random stages and the opponent keeps going to the sides of the map and throwing me or just spamming items.
How do I get better matches?
