Trying to pick a new control scheme

I'm not that great at smash and feel like I'm hitting a plateau. Part of it is due to my controls, mainly jumping. The new controls I picked are ZL-Shield, ZR-Jump, stick jump off, grab on Y, Tilt on right stick. Rest is default. I basically picked it because I don't likenusing bumpers, I don't wanna have to move my fingers at all. I know it's better but I don't really know how to play with it, and I also just wanna know if anyone has any tip or tweaks.
