Smash Not The Same
Post Body

I feel like Smash has become more for pro players and tournaments. In the latest Smash, you actually have to learn combos, and find advantages that your character has over all other characters. You have to change your button layout in order to really heighten your game skill. Feels like its becoming more like every other fighting game.

What I always loved about Smash, and I been playing since the very first one, is that it was a game that anybody who has zero experience in fighting games can pick up and be good at. It wasn’t anything about combos or button layouts. It was simple buttons, and you were good in the game if you really just anticipated your opponents moves.

I love to compete and in the older Smash games, you can still get very competitive and have a good time. But idk, Smash Ultimate seem like all competitive players play the same style. Jump attack or camp back, or they spent years on the training lab perfecting a 150% damage combo with Pickachu or something. Smash is ruined
