Samsung J3 Prime is so slow?

I have the Samsung J3 Prime and it is so slow. It lags all the time, when I use apps and the internet. It doesn't matter which wifi or data I use, it's still slow. Should I just get a new phone? Which phone is better and is fast? My budget would be a used phone and $100.
