So I’m on 9x01. I feel like I must’ve zoned out on all of this season on my last rewatch, beause I still don’t get the whole Orb thing. It was initially presented as a device that can be used to “control” the traveler, but just ended up neutralizing Clark. Then all of a sudden, it starts speaking to Tess about saving Kandor, then clones of Zod and his army come out of it? Maybe I need to get further into the season but..why didn’t it speak Lex? And wouldn’t it have made more sense for the clones to have come out of the orb when Lex activated it at the fortress?
