Let's talk taxes
Post Body

I travel and cook on my channel and so I claim fuel, food, alcohol... And also any purchases for equipment for video production or accessories for my Bronco. If I travel for a week, for example, I claim all the food, not just the food used for video work.

The Bronco is used 100% for the channel, however I don't have commercial insurance on it (I think it outta?). That's more an issue with the insurance company than the tax man I'm guessing.

The interest on the financing is tax deductible, as are maintenance and repair work.

I also claim 50% of my home living space for home office work.... Editing, voice over work, talking head, etc. This also includes utilities as a percentage of the claim.

Thoughts? Opinions? What do you do and what do you claim?

BTW, I'm just under 2000 subs, and this is my first full tax year of making YT ad income.
