Ruger American 6.5 CM groups
Post Body

My first post to the community was a single sub MOA group with my bone stock RAP in 6.5 Creedmoor. I was able to get close but not quite sub MOA after that. Since then I have dropped it into an Oryx chassis and upgraded to a Vortex Viper HST 4-16.

Also tried out Hornady 120 grain ELDMs, pretty impressed so far. First groups at the top were 40 grains of IMR4451. Very first one was a warmup group then 2 groups. After that I shot 3 more groups in with the same bullets with 36 and 36.5 grains of Reloder 15. After that gun was pretty dang hot and it opened up to a little over 1.25”.

All in all, couldn’t be happier with the rifle, chassis and my reloads. Looking forward to continue load development and experimenting.
