I thought I'd share a bit more detail about my relationship with my husband's friend. With my husband's knowledge, this is a poly relationship that all three of us have. My husband had been friends with him (we'll call him Lovr for now) for years. And Lovr and my husband were living together back in the days when we got married eight years ago, and I moved in with two men.

I got along well with Lovr and started taking care of him as well, in terms of cooking and cleaning his room along with my normal house chores, and we also spent a lot of time together in the house and went out together when hubby used to be away. This brought us closer, and my husband, too, by this point, started to notice this, and we decided to give it a go to see how it'd turn out, mainly because my husband trusted his friend enough.

I started sleeping with Lovr and alternated between both men every night. I built an emotional attachment with Lovr fairly similar to that I've had with my husband. At some point, we all realised that I am a woman for both of these men in an equal context. The only thing missing between Lovr and me would be a legal wedding, but we've had our own private wedding just because we wanted to.

I treat both of them equally and value both of their opinions on matters that concern us. And both men have tremendous mutual respect for each other and don't poke their noses into each other's business unnecessarily, so there is no jealousy or awkwardness amongst the three of us.
