This occurred this summer. I work near a large university in the NJ/NYC area. I took a walk for coffee as it’s a seventy degree day. She was waiting with her bf and put her head down. He didn’t notice me until I said, Hello Kelly (let’s call her Kelly). She sheepishly said hello like she hadn’t seen me. He gave an odd look like I must have been a family friend or former professor.
